Scott Spradley – CTO at Lennar Corporation

Scott Spradley, CTO

Lennar Corporation, one of the nation’s leading builders of quality homes for all generations, has named Scott Spradley as Chief Technology Officer. Spradley joins Lennar following a five-and-a-half-year tenure as Executive Vice President and Chief Technology and Automation Officer at Tyson Foods. While at Tyson, Spradley was responsible for setting and driving the company’s technology strategies and teams, information systems delivery, information security, data, and analytics, transforming the company through technology and advancing technology strategies. “We are confident that Scott’s leadership will help us define the future of homebuilding.” said Drew Holler, Chief Human Resources Officer at Lennar in a LinkedIn post announcing Scott Spradley’s placement.

Nancy Sieger, CTO

Nancy Sieger – CTO at the Treasury Department

The Internal Revenue Service Chief Information Officer Nancy Sieger has been appointed Chief Technology Officer at the U.S. Treasury Department. While at the IRS, she oversaw all information technology across the department, including ensuring that their technology was integrated and secure. Sieger brings more than 15 years of federal IT experience to the role and a vast history of delivering key projects producing big results.

Arun Gautam – CTO at Exxat

Exxat, a leader in education management for health sciences, recently announced Arun Gautam as Chief Technology Officer. In this role, Gautam will be responsible for the development of the company’s technology roadmap and overseeing the engineering and product development teams. Gautam brings over 20 years of industry experience and specializes in creating, bringing to market, and managing business & financial technology as well as designing & building the underlying technical infrastructure for products. “I’m excited to join Exxat and help to build the future of health sciences,” said Gautam.

Stephen Stryker, CIO

Stephen Stryker – CIO at DigitalBridge

DigitalBridge, a leading global digital infrastructure firm, has appointed Stephen Stryker as Chief Information Officer. Stryker joins DigitalBridge from Värde Partners, where he served as Senior Managing Director and Chief Technology Officer. Before, he worked with The Carlyle Group, Idea Integration, and Bearing Point.

Vikesh Jugjivan – Head of Digital at Oerlikon

Vikesh Jugjivan, Head of Digital

Oerlikon, a global innovation powerhouse for surface engineering, polymer processing, and additive manufacturing, has named Vikesh Jugjivan as Head of Digital. Jugjivan joins Oerlikon from FedEx, where he served as their Managing Director of IT and oversaw information technology operations for the Computing division which performs contract manufacturing, warehousing, and logistics services for top-tier computer manufacturers. Prior to that, he served in various IT leadership positions for Anaren, Flextronics, and SE Technologies over his 24-year career.

Matt Dawson, CTO

Matt Dawson – CTO at Maxeon Solar Technologies

Maxeon Solar Technologies, Ltd., a global leader in solar innovation and channels, has named Matt Dawson as Chief Technology Officer. As CTO, Dawson will report directly to CEO Bill Mulligan and will be responsible for the research and development (R&D) function globally, establishing the company’s new technology strategic roadmap and leading technological innovation and development. He brings over 15 years of experience developing and deploying products across the solar energy value chain. Dawson most recently served as Vice President of Technology at Sila Nanotechnologies, a privately held Silicon Valley company working towards scaling up the manufacture of an innovative silicon anode material for advanced high-performance batteries.

Jean-Charles Ledé – CTO at RapidFlight

As CTO, Ledé will lead Research and Development activities including Intellectual Property development, engineering, prototype manufacturing, project management, and flight operations. Ledé brings over 30 years of industry experience to the role, serving companies and organizations including DARPA, the US Air Force, Raytheon Missile Systems, and Aurora Flight Sciences. “I’m delighted to join the RapidFlight team to build the next generation of unmanned aircraft. Distributed systems are poised to revolutionize national defense. Stern will use her background of over 20 years of technology leadership experience to lead all aspects of the company’s technology and data analytics solutions as CTO. CEO Norm Shore, said, “[Stern] understands how to design and scale technology solutions that engage patients and care teams and deliver actionable insights for driving meaningful change. She joins us as the perfect time.”

Brian Cox – VP and CISO at Cox Enterprises

Cox Enterprises, the parent company of Cox Communications and Cox Automotive, recently promoted Brian Cox to Vice President and Chief Information Security Officer. This will be Brian’s first Chief Information Security Officer role in his career after serving Cox Enterprises as Assistant Vice President of Cybersecurity for nearly two years. Before his promotion, Brian worked at Cox Communications for nearly 8 years, starting as the Director of IT Security Operations and finishing his tenure as the Executive Director of Information Security.

Manoj Kumbhat, CTO and CIO

Manoj Kumbhat – Global CTO and CIO at McCain Foods

McCain Foods, the world’s largest manufacturer of frozen potato products and a global leader in prepared appetizers and snacks, named Manoj Kumbhat Global Chief Technology and Information Officer. Kumbhat joins McCain Foods from Kimberly-Clark where he served as Global CDO and CIO. In a LinkedIn post announcing his new role at McCain Foods, Kumbhat said that he is “excited about our Digital future and the opportunities to leverage Digital, Tech and Data to profitably grow our business, engage and serve our Consumers, Customers and employees in a differentiated way while living our purpose of protecting our planet – the possibilities are endless!”

Eram Farooqui – CTO at Datassential

Eram Farooqui, CTO

Datassential, the leading food and beverage intelligence platform connecting the dots between consumers and the food industry, promoted Eram Farooqui Chief Technology Officer. As CTO, she will work to advance Datassential’s big data and AI solutions for hundreds of food and beverage companies looking to develop, market, and sell their products. Her responsibilities will also consist of promoting strong technical leadership and evolving top-notch solutions that can continue to grow and scale with the company. Farooqui originally joined Datassential as Head of Engineering in November 2021 and has worked for a variety of organizations in her 20+ years of industry experience.

Jeremy Bowers, CTO

POLITICO, the global news organization, has appointed Jeremy Bowers as Global Chief Technology Officer. As CTO, Bowers will be responsible for enacting and upgrading POLITICO’s global technology strategy, strengthening the IT organization, and leading ongoing technology execution for its technology initiatives as it continues to grow globally. “I am excited to join the relentless crew at POLITICO to help shape and grow a dynamic business while empowering the dedicated and high-powered newsroom,” said Bowers in a press release. “Engineering will be a mission critical function of POLITICO’s future and I cannot wait to imagine and build what comes next with such an incredible team.”

Rusty Kennington – CIO at Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope

Rusty Kennington has been named Chief Information Officer for Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope. Kennington brings over 30 years of leadership experience within the industry, having worked with companies such as Henry Company, Corsicana Mattress Company, Brinker International, and Commercial Metals Company, among others. He’s passionate about engaging stakeholders and consistently delivering measurable value through acquisitions, opening new and digital markets, growing share in a market by differentiating the customer experience, and driving margin by improving internal processes, according to his LinkedIn.

Robert McGough, CDO

Robert McGough – CDO at the Arkansas Department of Transformation and Shared Services

Robert McGough has been appointed Chief Data Officer for the Arkansas Department of Transformation and Shared Services. As CDO, McGough will concentrate on policy and lead the state’s efforts to improve data use, data structure, and security. McGough formerly served as Arkansas’ Deputy Chief Data Officer in 2017 and had been serving as the state’s Chief Analytics Officer since early 2021, where he helped grow their data and analytic capacity and use of data in support of improved decisions, policy, operations, and research. “With his experience leading the ARData team and extensive data analytical knowledge, I have full confidence he will lead our state toward a data-driven and action-oriented approach that aligns perfectly with transformation’s core mission,” said Joseph K. Wood, the secretary of the Department of Transformation and Shared Services.

Suhas Yerra – CIO of Property and Casualty at USAA

Suhas Yerra is new to USAA and has been appointed SVP, Chief Information Officer for the organization’s Property and Casualty Company. Yerra has extensive experience in defining and guiding information technology vision, strategy, and execution for major organizations, with focused experience in the banking, financial services, and insurance industry. In his most recent role as CIO at AIG, he was responsible for technology strategy and delivery for General Insurance and Claims (Commercial and Consumer) globally, where he led a team of more than 3,500 employees focused on building digital solutions.

John TenEyck, CIO

John TenEyck – CIO of Shared Services and Infrastructure at USAA

Long-time USAA executive John TenEyck has been promoted to SVP, Chief Information Officer of Shared Services and Infrastructure, overseeing the company’s enterprise technology portfolio and providing organizational leadership and technical vision. With TenEyck in this strategic role, USAA will be better aligned with its enterprise architectural standards and be able to prioritize initiatives that deliver efficient, sound, and industry-leading platforms. TenEyck has served with USAA in various leadership roles for close to 16 years. In his most recent position, TenEyck was the VP of Enterprise IT Architecture, where he was responsible for driving the architecture direction of cloud adoption for the line of business platforms, as well as leading machine learning and artificial intelligence applications applied to the financial services industry.

Charles Sanderson – CTO at McLaren Automotive

McLaren Automotive has appointed Charles Sanderson as Chief Technology Officer. As CTO, Sanderson will spearhead their new technology roadmap and product innovation strategy. Sanderson previously worked for the luxury automaker for seven years, before going to work for the electric car manufacturer Rivian in mid-2018. While at Rivian, Sanderson served as the Vice President of Vehicle Integration & Development and subsequently as their Chief Engineer. Michael Leiters, CEO of McLaren, said that Sanderson “will be invaluable in the successful delivery of our Future of Performance strategy.”

Mike Johnson, CISO

Rivian, the manufacturer of category-defining electric vehicles and accessories, has named Mike Johnson Chief Information Security Officer. Johnson brings over 25 years of cybersecurity experience, having worked with companies including Fastly, Lyft, Salesforce, and Ingersoll Rand. “What a time to be joining Rivian!” said Johnson. “As Rivian enters this new phase of its growth, ensuring the security of the owners’ vehicles and data is critical. I’m excited to empower Rivian to accelerate while living up to our cyber security promises. I am inspired by Rivian’s mission to keep the world adventurous forever and proud to be able to play a part in this mission.”

Jonathan Fozard – CIO at Florida State University

Jonathan Fozard, CIO

Florida State University named Jonathan Fozard as Chief Information Officer (CIO) and Associate Vice President for Information Services. As CIO, Fozard will lead FSU’s technology services and initiatives with a 400-person team and an annual budget of more than $75 million. He will also oversee the operations of the Northwest Regional Data Center, the Florida Virtual Campus, and the State Data Center. Prior to joining FSU, Fozard served as the Interim Chief Technology Officer and Associate Vice President at George Washington University, as well as other strategic IT leadership roles at the University of Oklahoma, Oklahoma State University, and Mid-Atlantic Christian University.

Renee Pearson, CTO

Rollins, Inc., a premier North American consumer and commercial services company, recently appointed Renee Pearson as Group Vice President (GVP) and Chief Technology Officer (CTO). Allan Alford, CIO and CTO

Steven Travers – CIO at Broward Health

Travers most recently served as CIO at Alabama-based USA Health, where he led systemwide initiatives including the introduction of artificial intelligence to clinical workflows, the implementation of advanced telehealth capabilities, and the management of EMR integration.

Mark Thacker, CTO and CISO

Get Beyond, a company offering a suite of SMB business solutions, announced that its Chief Information Security Officer, Mark Thacker, will also serve as the company’s Chief Technology Officer. Thacker has served with Get Beyond since 2018 and brings 20 years of IT experience in total, 15 of in the information security field. As CTO, he will bring together the Information Security, IT Infrastructure, and development organizations to create technical solutions, capabilities, and robust infrastructure to support and enable business objectives. 

Francesco Tinto – CDO at Advantage Solutions

Vishal Bedi – Global CIO at JAS Worldwide

JAS Worldwide, a transportation company covering over 100 countries with over 7000 employees globally, has appointed Vishal Bedi as Global Chief Information Officer. He spent nearly 20 years in total with DHL in various technology leadership capacities.
