Prakash Kota has been appointed Chief Information Officer at UKG, a global leader in HR, payroll, and workforce management solutions.

Kota brings a strong track record of enterprise technology leadership, most recently serving as SVP and CIO at Autodesk. There, he led digital transformation efforts across global customer operations, enterprise data platforms, and cloud infrastructure, all while scaling systems to support business growth.

At UKG, Kota will be tasked with aligning technology initiatives with business strategy, employee experience, and customer outcomes. He will play a key role in advancing the company’s AI-driven innovation agenda, modernizing core systems, and scaling digital capabilities to support continued global growth.

“Leveraging a data- and AI-first framework, we have a tremendous opportunity to create intelligent, seamless experiences for our employees and our 80,000 customers worldwide. My focus will be on ensuring that UKG solutions foster trust, enhance collaboration, and drive meaningful outcomes,” he said.
