H&M Refines Technology Leadership with New CIO

H&M Group has appointed Diego Teijeiro Ruiz as Chief Information Officer. He will join the Executive Management Team and report to CEO Daniel Ervér.

Teijeiro joins from Inditex, where he spent close to two decades in a range of senior technology and data roles. Most recently, he served as Global Head of Data & Analytics, having previously held positions across product, supply chain, and store operations. Earlier in his career, he worked at Deloitte and Mapfre.

At H&M Group, Teijeiro will lead the company’s global technology division, with a mandate to strengthen its digital capabilities and modernise its technology infrastructure. His experience in simplifying complex environments and aligning technology with business priorities is expected to support H&M’s technology transformation.
