In November 2023, Dan Regalado took on the position of Chief Information Officer at Wynn Resorts. Prior to this role, he served as CIO at Banfield Pet Hospital and served as the Vice President of Global Marketing Technology at Walgreens. His association with Walgreens dates back to 2000 when he assumed the role of Leader of Global Application Development. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from the University of Mapua. “To our technology team – I am looking forward to learning from all of you and building on the solid foundation you all have created. George Irungu – Chief Information Security Officer at CAQH

George Irungu has assumed the Chief Information Security Officer role at the Council for Affordable Quality Healthcare. In his capacity, George will report to the Chief Financial and Administrative Officer, overseeing responsibilities related to information security and privacy. His appointment follows his role as the Chief Information Security Officer at Summa Health, where he was responsible for overseeing and managing information security risk across the integrated delivery system.
Dr. Muge Erdirik Dogan – Chief Technology Officer at Nike

Nike has appointed Dr. Muge Erdirik Dogan as its new Chief Technology Officer. In this role, Dogan will be responsible for driving innovation and digital transformation within the company. With over 16 years of experience and 3 years as Acting President of Amazon Fashion, Dogan brings strong leadership and business growth skills to Nike. Igor Tsyganskiy – Chief Information SecurityOfficer at Microsoft

Microsoft recently named Igor Tsyganskiy as their new Chief Information Security Officer, effective January 1, 2024, succeeding Bret Arsenault, who held the role for 14 years before transitioning to Chief Security Advisor. Tsyganskiy first joined Microsoft in September 2023 as Chief Strategy Officer, Security. Tsyganskiy has held leadership roles at major companies, including SAP, Salesforce, and WideOrbit, leading large technology and engineering teams. Described as a dynamic technologist and leader, Tsyganskiy expressed being “humbled and honored” to take on the critical responsibility of protecting Microsoft and its vast global security organization. His appointment comes as Microsoft aims to escalate security impact across its ecosystem.
Sune Vorre – Chief Information Officer at Abacus Medicine Group

The Abacus Medicine Group has appointed Sune Vorre as its new Chief Information Officer (CIO) and a new member of the chief executive management team. Vorre, formerly the CIO of Dagrofa, one of Denmark’s largest retailers, brings a strong track record at the intersection of business and IT technology. Vorre’s responsibilities will encompass the entire IT architecture and the strategic, long-term IT roadmap for the Abacus Medicine Group.
Samir VM – Chief Information Officer at Omaxe

Samir VM is an information technology leader with over two decades of experience, the majority focused on the real estate sector. As the newly appointed Chief Information Officer at Omaxe Group, he brings extensive knowledge to shape the organization’s technology strategy. Dorothy Aronson – Chief Artificial Intelligence Officer at the National Science Foundation

The National Science Foundation has appointed Dorothy Aronson as its first Chief AI Officer while she continues to serve the organization as Chief Data Officer. This follows Biden’s executive order and draft guidance for agencies to oversee emerging AI technology. Aronson’s responsibilities include advising on AI resources and skills, coordinating AI activities at NSF, and managing risks. The goal is to strategically guide AI development at the NSF under the administration’s directives. “Her extensive expertise will undoubtedly contribute to advancing the agency’s capabilities in the realm of artificial intelligence,” said an NSF spokesperson.
Roshan Navagamuwa – Chief Information Officer at American International Group

American International Group has appointed Roshan Navagamuwa as their Vice President and Chief Information Officer, effective January 1, 2024. In his new role, Mr. Navagamuwa is in charge of overseeing infrastructure, partnerships, and cloud adaptation. Prior to this move, he worked for CVS Health as the CIO. “Roshan is an accomplished technology executive with an impressive track record of innovating software development and managing through complex organizational change. I am very pleased that Roshan is joining AIG, and his deep expertise and broad management experience will be an asset as we continue to strategically deploy technology to advance our next phase of growth,” said AIG Chairman and CEO, Peter Zaffino.
Vitalii Yatskiv – Chief Technology Officer at Boosty Labs

Boosty Labs has appointed Vitalii Yatskiv as Chief Technology Officer. He has an abundance of experience in blockchain consulting as well as a track record in innovation and leadership. Yatskiv’s responsibilities will include driving the company’s technological vision as well as drawing focus to solutions in blockchain, AI, and Web3. Eileen Vidrine – Chief Data and Artificial Intelligence Officer for the Department of the Air Force

The US Air and Space Force has appointed Eileen Vidrine as their new CDAIO (Chief Data and Artificial Intelligence Officer). Vidrine previously served as the senior strategic advisor for data to the federal CIO in the Office of Management and Budget. She also has years of experience as CDO for the Department of the Air Force under her belt. The Air Force has started planning for the future by implementing AI into decisions and operations. According to the Air Force, this is a must to stay ahead of the curve. In this new position, Vidrine is expected to utilize AI-based solutions to support operations. “As the department’s chief data officer over the past three-plus years, I have worked at the forefront of data management and analysis. With over 80-plus successful projects that have resulted in significant synergy between data and AI, I believe that my experience and expertise make me an ideal fit for the DAF Chief Data and AI Officer role,” said Vidrine.

Marc Sosa – Chief Information Officer at HII
HII, the defense and space manufacturing company safeguarding global protection by building national defense equipment, named Marc Sosa as Chief Information Officer. Sosa joins the company with over 20 years of experience in the IT industry and will guide the day-to-day leadership of the company’s information systems. “Marc’s progressive technical and leadership experience will be critical to strengthening our company’s IT efforts. He is a results-oriented leader that has achieved business goals and objectives through the delivery of enabling technologies and continuous improvement. His proven leadership in IT organizational change will be key to maturing HII’s transformation initiatives, critical to our company’s ability to provide all-domain solutions to our customers,” said Chris Soong, HII’s executive vice president and CIO.
Anna Mercado Clark – Chief Information Security Officer at Phillips Lytle LLP

Anna Mercado Clark, a partner of the firm, has been appointed to Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at Phillips Lytle LLC. In addition to this role, she will serve the company as the leader of the Data Privacy and Cybersecurity and Discovery practice teams as well as the co-leader of the Technology industry and Blockchain practice teams. Clark has years of experience at Phillips Lytle working closely with their Data Privacy, Cybersecurity, and e-Discovery practices. André Mendes – Chief Information Officer of Tarrant County, Texas

André Mendes recently announced his retirement from his role as Chief Information Officer at the Department of Commerce as he heads home to Texas to take on a new role of Chief Information Officer for Tarrant County, Texas. Mendes was with the Fed for over 14 years and commuted weekly from Texas to Washington, D.C.. “AA shareholders will miss me. I will not miss the 2:45 alarms or 5:15 flights,” said Mendes in a LinkedIn announcement. He will begin his new role on January 2, 2024.
Rob Reck – Chief Trust and Security Officer at Pax8

Rob Reck joins Pax8, a cloud commerce marketplace, as Chief Trust and Security Officer (CTSO). Reck has a security background in various sectors, from banking to software, where he served in roles such as Chief Trust Officer and Chief Information Security Officer. In this new role, his main task will be to increase security measures on the Pax8 Marketplace. “We’re thrilled to have Robb, an industry-leading security innovator, take the helm of security and compliance at Pax8,” said Chasin, Chief Technology Officer at Pax8. “With an impressive 25 years of experience in the IT space, Robb brings invaluable expertise to Pax8. Belinda Finch – Chief Information Office at IFS

IFS, the global cloud enterprise software company, announced Belinda Finch as Chief Information Officer (CIO). Finch comes from Three where she led their digital transformation efforts and enhanced the customer experience through work with their product teams. In her new role, she will continue her work with digital transformation and work toward organization-wide AI adoption. Finch has been recognized for her leadership values on numerous occasions with accolades at the Women in Tech Excellence Awards 2022, CIO of the Year Finalist, and MVNO’s World Congress Woman of the Year Awards 2023.
Chris Tonas – Chief Technology Officer at Frontline Education

Chris Tonas has joined Frontline Education, a leading provider of administration software purpose-built for educators in K-12, as their Chief Technology Officer (CTO), effective immediately. Chris brings over 30 years of experience, including engineering and development roles with Plurasight and Oracle. Deskus, a seasoned technology executive with over two decades of experience, has been named as the new Executive Vice President and Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at PayPal. Joining the company in March 2022 as Chief Information Officer, Deskus has a distinguished career, having previously served as Senior Vice President and CIO at Intel and in the same capacity at Hewlett Packard Enterprise. Harden joins Green Dot from Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group (MUFG), where he most recently served as Managing Director and Head of Core Banking Technology Transformation. Morgan has been with HSD since 2013, when she started as the IT Public Health Applications Manager then was named Deputy CIO one year later.
