Google Maps has launched its Immersive View and Live Technology showing people live views in real-time. It’s available in London, Los Angeles, San Francisco, New York, and Tokyo.
Why it matters: This will give users the more extensive ability to find restaurants, banks, ATMs, and stores simply by lifting a phone while on the street.
- Users can zoom over a building to find the easiest or less crowded entrances at different times of the day along with weather forecasts.
- It will expand to most airports, train stations, and malls in Europe, Asia, and South America.
