Phil Wiser is stepping down as Chief Technology Officer of Paramount after more than seven years with the company.

In a LinkedIn post announcing his departure, Wiser highlighted several technology initiatives completed during his tenure, including Paramount’s migration to a cloud-native infrastructure, the integration of systems following the Viacom-CBS merger, and the continued scaling of the platforms supporting Paramount+ and Pluto TV.
He also pointed to the company’s work on large-scale live streaming events, modernization of its media supply chain, expanded AI adoption, and a recent Oracle Fusion deployment.
Wiser said he plans to focus next on AI-related ventures, advisory work, and research centered on enterprise optimization and digital twin technologies.
