KnowBe4 has announced the appointment of IT executive Joel Kemmerer as its new Chief Information Officer. With more than 30 years of experience in IT leadership across the technology sector, Kemmerer is set to lead KnowBe4’s digital transformation and streamline business operations.
Previously, Kemmerer served as CIO at N-able, where he played a pivotal role in scaling IT infrastructure and optimizing operations during a period of global expansion. Prior to that, he held multiple leadership positions at SolarWinds, including CIO of its MSP Business Unit and Vice President of Enterprise Applications, contributing to transformative projects and platform modernization efforts. His earlier career includes senior IT roles at AMD, Zebra Technologies, and Green Mountain Energy.
In 2022, Kemmerer’s team received the Gold Stevie Award for Information Technology Department of the Year at the American Business Awards, a testament to his leadership in innovation and operational excellence.
