USAA has named Dan Griffiths as Chief Information Officer. In the role, Griffiths will lead the organization’s technology strategy and operations, with responsibility for core platforms, cybersecurity, infrastructure and enterprise digital delivery.
His responsibilities include advancing platform modernization, strengthening security and resilience, and establishing consistent engineering and operational standards across the technology organization.
He will also oversee the reliability and scalability of systems supporting USAA’s insurance, banking and financial services businesses.
Most recently, Griffiths served as Group Chief Information Officer for Santander US and Santander Bank globally. He previously held senior roles at Banco Santander, including Head of Technology and Operations for North America.
