Mike Mahar has been named Chief Technology Officer of the PGA Tour, bringing more than two decades of technology leadership experience focused on enterprise transformation and digital innovation.
Mahar joins the PGA Tour from Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, where he led a comprehensive technology transformation that consolidated fragmented systems and moved the enterprise to AWS and SaaS-based platforms.
Throughout his career, Mahar has led large, globally distributed teams through significant technology and organizational transformations, with a focus on using technology to improve customer engagement and business performance.
As Chief Technology Officer, Mahar will lead the PGA Tour’s technology function and advance its digital, data, and AI strategy. He will focus on strengthening the Tour’s technology platforms and using data and personalization to create more connected experiences for fans.
