The University of Notre Dame has appointed Tracy Weber as Vice President and Chief Information Officer, effective July 1, following a national search. She succeeds Jane Livingston, who is stepping down after five years in the role.

Weber brings more than 30 years of IT experience, including 23 years at Notre Dame, where she has held leadership positions across applications development, enterprise content management, platform services, collaborative IT services, and community IT experience.
Her recent leadership includes guiding the university’s cybersecurity strategy and overseeing the University’s IT response during the COVID-19 pandemic, in addition to contributing to major institutional planning initiatives.
A Notre Dame alumna, Weber returned to the University in 2003 after working at Accenture on client-facing technology engagements. She holds bachelor’s degrees in mathematics and economics and an Executive Master of Nonprofit Administration from Notre Dame.
