New Hampshire has named Pamela McLeod as its new Chief Information Security Officer, bringing a longtime education sector cybersecurity leader into state government. The appointment was confirmed by State Chief Information Officer Denis Goulet.

McLeod joins from ACT, where she served as Cyber Director. She has more than 15 years of experience focused on cybersecurity in education, including serving as Chief Information Security Officer for the Concord School District in New Hampshire.
Her background includes work with school systems and local governments that face frequent ransomware and cyberattack activity.
“Pam comes to us with significant public sector technology experience,” Goulet said, adding that she “has been a great leader and partner in NH’s whole-of-state cybersecurity effort.”
