Accenture has appointed Dr. Marc Warner as Chief Technology Officer following the completion of its acquisition of AI firm Faculty. Warner, Faculty’s co-founder and former CEO, will also join Accenture’s Global Management Committee.

In his new role, Warner will oversee the company’s technology strategy, with a focus on the development and application of artificial intelligence across its services.

His appointment comes as Accenture integrates Faculty’s capabilities in areas such as AI strategy, safety, and system implementation.

Warner has led the development of applied AI systems across a range of sectors, including healthcare and commercial industries. At Faculty, he oversaw the delivery of AI projects and the growth of the company’s technical team.
