Eleonore Fournier-Tombs – Chief AI Officer at New York State

New York State has named Eleonore Fournier-Tombs as its new Chief Artificial Intelligence Officer, succeeding Shreya Amin less than a year into her tenure. Fournier-Tombs brings more than 15 years of experience in AI, data governance, and digital transformation, most recently as a senior researcher at United Nations University, where she founded and led the UN’s first AI policy research lab. Paul Lavertu – Chief Information Officer at Easterseals NH/VT

Zach Posner – Chief Information Officer at Salt Lake City

Salt Lake City has selected Zach Posner as its next Chief Information Officer, with the City Council approving the move unanimously under the consent agenda. Posner joins from Salt Lake County, where he has served as CIO since 2017, overseeing technology services for 1.3 million residents across IT strategy, cybersecurity, enterprise systems, and digital services. Ahmad Al-Dahle – Chief Technology Officer at Airbnb

Airbnb has appointed Ahmad Al-Dahle as its new Chief Technology Officer, bringing in a senior AI leader with deep experience spanning consumer technology and large-scale AI platforms. Al-Dahle joins from Meta, where he led the Generative AI organization and oversaw development of the Llama open-source models, widely adopted across the AI ecosystem.
