Yum! Brands has announced the promotion of Jim Dausch to Chief Digital and Technology Officer and President of Byte by Yum!, as part of a broader leadership reshuffle under incoming CEO Chris Turner.
Dausch transitions into the role after serving as Global Chief Digital and Technology Officer at Pizza Hut, where he led the brand’s technology strategy and deepened franchisee collaboration.
His promotion fills the seat vacated by outgoing CTO Joe Park.With more than 25 years of global experience spanning hospitality, retail, and consumer technology, Dausch brings a rare combination of digital expertise and brand strategy to Yum!’s executive leadership.
Prior to joining the company, he was Executive Vice President and Chief Consumer Officer at Under Armour, where he drove consumer demand and digital engagement.
Earlier, he spent over two decades with Marriott International, holding several senior roles, including Chief Digital and Business Transformation Officer, SVP of Enterprise Products, and SVP of Global Operations, leading large-scale initiatives across digital platforms, operations, sales, and franchise services.
Dausch will oversee enterprise-wide digital strategy and innovation through Byte by Yum!, the company’s digital and AI innovation engine, in his new dual role. His mandate includes expanding technology infrastructure, enhancing consumer experiences, and supporting the digital enablement of Yum!’s global franchise network.
