Weeks will oversee Vimeo’s security, compliance, and risk management functions, furthering the company’s mission to provide a trusted and secure video experience for its global user base.
Ryan Weeks brings nearly 20 years of information security expertise to Vimeo. Before joining, he served as CISO at Datto, Inc., where he established and scaled the company’s security program. He also contributed significantly to the broader cybersecurity community, including working with the Ransomware Task Force to mitigate ransomware risks.
Weeks expressed his enthusiasm for the role, emphasizing the importance of trust and transparency in video platforms. He aims to enhance Vimeo’s reputation by leading a strong security and compliance program that supports businesses and creators in managing their video assets securely.
