The U.S. Army Reserve Command has announced the appointment of Aaron Allen as its new Chief Information Officer (CIO). Allen, a seasoned IT professional, has dedicated his expertise and leadership to the U.S. Army for over a decade.
From managing IT strategy and infrastructure to enhancing network administration and data analysis, his work has consistently supported military operations and his leadership has been instrumental in advancing the Army’s technological capabilities and operational efficiency.
Most recently, Allen served as a battalion commander with the Army Reserve Careers Group, overseeing over 130 soldiers across Pennsylvania, Delaware, and New Jersey. His prior roles include acting commander of the Army Pacific Command Support Unit-FWD Japan, Brigade Operations S-3 officer in charge with the 505th Signal Brigade, and deputy CIO for the 311th Expeditionary Sustainment Command.
Allen’s dedication to the Army and his broad IT expertise make him a valuable asset to the U.S. Army Reserve Command as he steps into his new role as CIO.
