Truist Financial Corporation has named David McLeod as its Chief Technology Officer, reinforcing its commitment to cloud transformation and digital innovation. McLeod will lead Truist’s technology strategy, driving advancements in infrastructure, cloud services, and IT modernization.

McLeod joins Truist from Barings, where he served as Global Head of Infrastructure Services. Previously, he was Global Head of Cloud Services at Bank of America, bringing expertise in cloud strategy and enterprise technology leadership.
In his new role, McLeod will focus on leveraging technology to enhance client experiences, modernizing infrastructure, and accelerating Truist’s cloud initiatives.
