PetSmart Names Greg Fancher EVP & Chief Information Technology Officer

PetSmart hires a seasoned retail technology executive.

Greg Fancher has been appointed EVP & Chief Information Technology Officer at PetSmart.

Fancher brings over 25 years of technology leadership experience in the retail and restaurant space. He recently served as the SVP and Chief Technology Officer at Express, where he led the company’s IT strategy to support business growth and digital innovation. While at Express, Fancher kickstarted a nearshoring initiative in Costa Rica for technology operations, prioritizing cybersecurity compliance roles and connecting the US and Costa Rican teams, respectively. Prior to that, he served as the CIO for Taco Bell, IT Director for Supply Chain, Business Intelligence, Mobile & Enterprise Architecture at lululemon athletica, and the Senior Director of IT at Gap Inc.

Fancher specializes in developing enterprise-wide application change initiatives, transforming tech organizations, developing/promoting internal talent, building high-performance cultures, and recruiting and integrating strong leadership teams.
