Netflix (NFLX), one of the world’s leading entertainment services, has promoted Elizabeth Stone to Chief Technology Officer (CTO). As CTO, Stone will oversee the company’s data and engineering teams and pair with Chief Product Officer (CPO), Eunice Kim, to help improve the overall customer experience.

Stone joined Netflix in 2020 to take charge of the Data and Insights team and work towards improving and evolving the business in areas including member-facing products, content, streaming delivery, and studio production, among others. Prior to joining the company, she served in key leadership roles for companies such as Analysis Group, Nuna Inc., and Lyft.

“Technology has been critical to Netflix’s success over the last 25 years, enabling us to deliver an ever improving member experience,” said Stone. “It’s a huge privilege to work with such amazing teams and I am inspired by the opportunities to innovate into the future for the benefit of our members and our business.”
