State Farm has appointed Joe Park as Executive Vice President and Chief Digital & Information Officer. In this role, Park will lead the company’s technology, data, and innovation functions, overseeing several thousand associates. He will report directly to President and CEO Jon Farney.
Park brings nearly two decades of experience in digital transformation, technology leadership, and customer-centric innovation across global enterprises. He joins State Farm from Yum! Brands, where he is Chief Digital & Technology Officer and President of Byte by Yum!, an AI-driven restaurant technology platform.
During his tenure at Yum!, Park also held leadership roles at Pizza Hut Global and Pizza Hut International, driving digital strategies that generated over $1 billion in digital business and positioned brands like Taco Bell and Pizza Hut to become “AI-first” operations.
Prior to Yum!, Park held senior technology roles at Walmart, including Vice President of Associate Digital Experience & Enterprise Architecture, where he led infrastructure, retail platforms, and enterprise architecture for over 2 million associates. He also spent more than a decade at GE in CIO and executive IT roles across GE Power and GE Healthcare.
Park also serves in advisory and board roles for organizations such as Cottingham & Butler, Social Mobile, and Compass Experience Labs, reflecting his influence across technology and innovation sectors.
