Lance Kobza Returns to Omni Hotels as CIO

Joshua Koszalkowski
Contributing Writer

Omni Hotels & Resorts recently announced Lance Kobza as the organization’s new Chief Information Officer. Kobza originally worked at Omni Hotels as their Director of Application Services in 2013, so this is an exciting move for him as he returns to the Omni family. This is also an important hire for Omni Hotels, which is poised to make strategic expansions in the near future.

Headquartered in Dallas, Omni Hotels & Resorts operates 60 distinctive luxury hotels and resorts in key business gateways and leisure destinations across North America. Peter Strebel, chairman of Omni Hotels & Resorts, recently said in an interview with FOX Business: “We’ve been very, very busy, which is great to see. We’re almost fully staffed,” Strebel said. “So I think the business, you could almost say, is almost there, and almost recovered and on its way.”

Kozba brings with him a breadth of experience in the hospitality industry. Most recently, he served as the Chief Technology Officer at Aimbridge Hospitality, a leading hotel management company. Before that, he held Chief Information Officer role at Pillar Hotels and Resorts and the Director of Application Services position at Omni Hotels & Resorts as previously mentioned, amongst others.
