Kaiser Permanente has promoted Narayanan “Nari” Gopala to Chief Digital Officer (CDO) for Kaiser Foundation Health Plan and Hospitals. As CDO, Gopala will lead cross-functional teams to transform a full range of digital experiences for the organization’s 12.6 million members as well as its clinical workforce.

Gopala brings more than 25 years of technology leadership experience, working for companies such as i2 Technologies, Inc., Sony Online Entertainment, Daybreak Game Company LLC, and Amazon Web Services, before joining Kaiser Permanente. Prior to his promotion to CDO, Gopala served as Vice President of Capability & Platform Engineering where he led the development of platforms and capabilities for digital experiences and IT-wide transformation and modernization efforts.
