Inspire Brands, the Atlanta-based restaurant holding company, has announced Yasir Anwar as its new Chief Technology Officer. Anwar brings a wealth of experience, having previously held the position of Chief Technology and Digital Officer at Williams-Sonoma and Chief Technology Officer at Macy’s. His extensive background also includes significant technology leadership roles at Walmart and Wells Fargo.
In his new role at Inspire Brands, Anwar will be responsible for overseeing various teams, including Product Engineering, Data Engineering, Technology Operations, Architecture, Cybersecurity, Enterprise Applications, and Infrastructure and Development Operations. Anwar’s appointment is seen as a strategic move to enhance the technology capabilities across Inspire’s portfolio, which includes well-known brands such as Arby’s, Buffalo Wild Wings, Sonic Drive-In, Jimmy John’s, Dunkin’, and Baskin Robbins.
