HCA Healthcare (NYSE: HCA), a prominent healthcare provider in the United States, recently announced the appointment of Chad Wasserman as its new Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer, effective February 1, 2024. Wasserman, who has nearly three decades of experience at HCA Healthcare, succeeds P. Martin “Marty” Paslick upon his retirement after 38 years of service.

In his new role, Wasserman will oversee the Information Technology Group (ITG), managing over 6,700 colleagues and leading global IT strategy, solutions, and support across HCA Healthcare’s network. Before ascending to the role of CIO, Wasserman held several key positions within HCA Healthcare. His previous roles include Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer for ITG, as well as Vice President in various capacities within the organization.
