Mandarin Oriental has appointed Raphael Bick as Chief Information Officer. Based in Hong Kong, Bick now serves on the Group’s Executive Committee and reports directly to the Group Chief Executive Officer.

Bick brings over two decades of global experience in technology, digital transformation, and AI. Before joining Mandarin Oriental, he spent more than 15 years at McKinsey & Company, most recently leading McKinsey Technology in Asia. In this role, he advised CIOs, CTOs, and business leaders across sectors such as hospitality, financial services, and retail, driving large-scale technology-enabled transformations.
As Asia Leader of Build by McKinsey and a founding member of McKinsey Digital Labs in the region, Bick played a pivotal role in building and scaling remote delivery centers and recruiting over 500 technology professionals across Asia. He also served as Asia Leader of Leap, McKinsey’s business-building practice, where he helped launch and grow technology-driven ventures.
At Mandarin Oriental, Bick is tasked with leading the Group’s technology and AI transformation, focused on creating more personalized, seamless, and guest-centric experiences.
“Going forward I am honored to work alongside Laurent Kleitman and the world-class team at Mandarin Oriental, leading the Group’s Technology, Digital and AI transformation,” said Bick.
