Boeing has appointed Dana Deasy as its new Chief Information Digital Officer and Senior Vice President of Information Technology and Data Analytics. In this role, Deasy will oversee Boeing’s IT, cybersecurity, and data strategy, reporting directly to President and CEO Kelly Ortberg while serving on the executive council.
Deasy brings more than four decades of technology leadership experience, including serving as Chief Information Officer at the U.S. Department of Defense from 2018 to 2021. Prior to that, he held CIO roles at JPMorgan Chase, BP, and General Motors. His career began in information management at Rockwell’s Space Systems Division.
“Dana is a well-respected, global technology leader who has a track record of delivering on innovative technologies across large and complex organizations,” said Ortberg. “Our IT team will have a key role as we focus on meeting our safety and quality goals, delivering reliably for our customers and positioning ourselves for the future.”
