Jason Morris – Chief Technology and Information Officer at Nordstrom

Nordstrom, a leading fashion retailer and department store, announced the appointment of Jason Morris as Chief Technology and Information Officer. Morris will play a crucial role in the execution of Nordstrom’s “Closer to You” market strategy and will lead the company’s technology functions, including engineering and data science, and analytics. Morris brings over 25 years of technology experience and joins the company following his most recent role as Senior Vice President, Enterprise Business Services at Walmart.

Min Wang – Chief Technology Officer at Splunk

Splunk, the cybersecurity and observability leader, named Min Wang as Chief Technology Officer. As CTO, Wang will pair with leaders across Engineering, Product Management, Design, and Go-to-Market teams to advance the vision and technical direction of the company’s product portfolio innovation in order for customers to develop greater digital resilience. Wang brings over 20 years of experience in technology research and development, with a focus on artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning, data analytics, and enterprise cloud. Over her career, she has served at IBM, Hewlett-Packard, Visa, and most recently at Google as Engineering Director.

Robert Berris – Chief Innovation Officer at Brightwell

Robert Berris has been named Chief Innovation Officer at Brightwell, the global payments technology company. Before Brightwell, Berris was the EVP & Managing Director of Three Five Two, Inc. an innovation agency, where he led the day-to-day operations and company strategy. In his time there, he founded the Innovation practice – a new line of business, where he and his team worked with Fortune 500 executives to address their most pressing challenges centered on identifying new market opportunities, creating new products and services, or pioneering new ventures, according to his LinkedIn. In a post celebrating the new role, he said “I’ll now spend my time thinking about how I can help grow Brightwell as its newest Chief Innovation Officer. After a few weeks on the job, I’m thankful to the entire team for the warm welcome and I look forward to what’s to come.”

Georgeo Pulikkathara – Chief Information Security Officer at Dovenmuehle

Georgeo Pulikkathara has been appointed Chief Information Security Officer at Dovenmuehle, one of the leading mortgage sub-servicing companies in the United States specializing in servicing loans on behalf of commercial banks, credit unions, mortgage banking companies, and state and local housing finance agencies nationwide. He brings over 20 years of IT and security experience in the banking, financial services, defense, and technology industries, most recently serving as interim SVP, Head of Cyber Security Operations at the Bank of the West. Georgeo is also a Lieutenant Colonel in the US Army Reserve, serving as the Division CIO/G-6 for the 81st Readiness Division supporting 50,000 Soldiers and civilians across 9 states.  

Ken Moss – Chief Technology Officer at BILL

BILL, a leader in financial automation software for small and midsize businesses, has chosen Ken Moss as Chief Technology Officer. In a LinkedIn post expressing gratitude for the new position, Moss said that “The culture is vital to me and their values are: Fun, Passionate, Authentic, Humble and Accountable. These aren’t just words on the wall (although they are words on the wall!) – I’ve also seen these come to life throughout my experience with the team. I haven’t had the opportunity to work for a CEO-Founder since my early days under Bill Gates at Microsoft. At BILL, founder and CEO René Lacerte will be my new manager and I look forward to working with him and the team.” Moss brings over 32 years of technology leadership experience, having worked with Microsoft, CrowdEye, eBay, and most recently Electronic Arts, where he served as Chief Technology Officer.

Conrad Band, CIO

Conrad Band – Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles

Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles (CHLA) has appointed Conrad Band as the permanent Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer. Band, who has held the CIO role in an interim capacity since May 2021, will continue providing vision, strategy, and direction for information systems and technology for the enterprise. “Being named to the permanent Chief Information Officer role is a testament to Conrad’s contribution and leadership throughout his tenure at CHLA,” said Lara Khouri, MBA, MPH, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles.

Narayanan Gopala – Chief Digital Officer at Kaiser Permanente

Kaiser Permanente announced that Narayanan “Nari” Gopala has been promoted to Chief Digital Officer (CDO) for Kaiser Foundation Health Plan and Hospitals. As CDO, Gopala will lead cross-functional teams to transform a full range of digital experiences for the organization’s 12.6 million members as well as its clinical workforce. Gopala brings more than 25 years of technology leadership experience, having worked with companies such as i2 Technologies, Inc., Sony Online Entertainment, Daybreak Game Company LLC, and Amazon Web Services, prior to joining Kaiser Permanente.

Sherry C. Lawdermilt – Associate Vice President and Chief Information Officer at Austin Peay State University

Dr. Sherry C. Lawdermilt has been selected as Austin Peay State University’s (APSU) new Associate Vice President and Chief Information Officer. “I’m very excited to be joining the Office of Information Technology in serving the students, faculty and staff at Austin Peay State University,” said Lawdermilt.  “I look forward to collaborating with campus and community constituents to align technology initiatives with the University’s strategic goals.” Lawdermilt brings over 28 years of IT experience and will be joining APSU after her most recent role as Chief Information Officer at Bemidji State University.

Darya Chudova – Chief Technology Officer at Guardant Health

Guardant Health, Inc., a leading precision oncology company, promoted Darya Chudova to Chief Technology Officer. Chudova has been with the company for eight years, most recently serving as Senior Vice President of Technology, where she most recently led the development of Guardant’s ShieldTM technology for blood-based colorectal cancer screening, which is currently under review with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. “Darya has already been instrumental in our technology development over the last eight years. With the newly created role of chief technology officer, we are combining our research and development efforts across oncology and screening, and leveraging our single platform across multiple products to allow us to scale more efficiently,” said co-CEO AmirAli Talasaz.

Beth Killoran – Chief Information Officer at the Government Accountability Office

Beth Killoran has been named Chief Information Officer for the Government Accountability Office. Killoran brings 28 years of experience within varying government roles, having served with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, and most recently with the General Service Administration as Deputy Chief Information Officer, among others. Comptroller General Gene Dodaro, when commenting on Killoran’s appointment, said: “I am very happy to have Beth join GAO as our new Chief Information Officer. She is extremely well qualified and brings a host of talents to the position. We look forward to welcoming her.”

Mark Overton – Chief Information Officer at Archer Systems

ARCHER Systems, the leading provider of comprehensive litigation-related settlement solutions including claims administration, healthcare lien resolution, and qualified settlement fund administration services to law firms across the United States, has appointed Mark Overton as Chief Information Officer. Overton joins ARCHER from Greyhound Lines, Inc., where he served as Sr. Vice President and Chief Information Officer. In a LinkedIn post announcing his departure from Greyhound Lines, Overtone said “I have worked with the most amazing team over the last 5 years at Greyhound, including everyone in IT, operations, Finance, HR, legal and commercial. Nicholas Griffith – Chief Technology Officer at Moov

Moov, the world’s largest and fastest-growing marketplace for used semiconductor equipment, announced that Nicholas Griffith has been promoted to Chief Technology Officer. Griffith has been with Moov since 2020, serving as Head of Technology, where he has led product and engineering organizations through expansive growth. “With Nick at the helm, we’ve grown to be more than the world’s largest marketplace for used equipment – we provide a truly end-to-end technology solution for buying, selling, and managing pre-owned semiconductor manufacturing tooling,” said Steven Zhou co-founder and CEO of Moov. In his new role as CTO, Griffith will lead the company’s technology and product organizations and oversee all R&D efforts.

William Walders – Chief Information Officer at Baycare

Baycare, a leading not-for-profit health care system that connects individuals and families to a wide range of services throughout the Tampa Bay and central Florida regions, has named William Walders Chief Information Officer. As CIO, Walders will be responsible for all information services, clinical engineering, and cyber security across the system. Walders brings over 20 years of leadership experience within the healthcare and information systems industries, and most recently served as Chief Information Officer & Senior Vice President of IDN Operations at Health First.

Adrian Stone – Chief Information Security Officer at Moderna

Moderna, a biotechnology company pioneering messenger RNA (mRNA) therapeutics and vaccines, has appointed Adrian Stone as Chief Information Security Officer. Stone will focus on protecting the security and integrity of Moderna’s corporate data and systems from cyber threats. His cybersecurity organization will work across the company to ensure security is at the core of Moderna. “I am excited to be part of the company’s commitment to maintaining and safeguarding patients’ trust and help deliver the greatest impact to people through mRNA medicines,” said Stone. Stone is a well-known cybersecurity veteran and joins Moderna from Peloton, where he was the company’s first-ever CISO.

Jeremy Waller – Vice President, Information Technology at Qualus

Jeremy Waller has joined Qualus as Vice President, Information Technology. Prior to Qualus, Waller served as Vice President of Information Technology Operations at Morgan & Morgan, P.A., where he oversaw all Enterprise IT functional areas which comprise IT Operations and Governance, Systems and Applications, Networks and Infrastructure, Digital Workplace, and Customer Experience. He brings over 27 years of industry experience, serving with companies including JSoft Consulting Inc, Wyndham Vacation Ownership, Marriott Vacations Worldwide, and Morgan & Morgan, P.A.

Kristanne Littlefield – Chief Information Officer & VP of Information of Technology at WWF

WWF, an independent conservation organization active in nearly 100 countries, has appointed Kristanne Littlefield Chief Information Officer & VP of Information of Technology. Littlefield brings over 25 years of experience leading IT initiatives, including extensive experience in IT strategy, governance, information management, data analytics, network operations, and cybersecurity. She’s worked with many companies over the years, including Conservation International, Arlington Country, and PhRMA. In a LinkedIn post celebrating her new role with WWF, Littlefield said “I look forward to joining a talented team of committed individuals working to help people and nature thrive.”

John Landy – Chief Technology Officer at FinThrive

FinThrive, a healthcare revenue management software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform backed by Clearlake Capital Group, L.P. (through certain affiliates, “Clearlake”), has named John Landy Chief Technology Officer. Landy brings over 30 years of technology and engineering leadership experience at software companies, including Intralinks, Datapipe, Sovos Compliance, and ArisGlobal, to name a few. In a press release announcing his appointment, Landy said “It’s an honor to join an organization that prioritizes innovation and investments in technology to drive greater efficiencies in healthcare organizations. I look forward to using our technology and applying my experience to improve the platform’s user experience through a single unified revenue management SaaS solution.”

Seth Ross – Chief Digital Officer at MoneyGram

MoneyGram, a leading global financial technology company that connects the world’s communities, announced that Seth Ross would be joining the company as Chief Digital Officer. As CDO, Ross will lead the company’s direct-to-consumer business and global digital strategy and will report to MoneyGram Chairman and CEO Alex Holmes. Prior to joining MoneyGram, Ross worked with Ceridian, leading efforts around Dayforce, their award-winning consumer app that enables on-demand access to wages, and rolling out new consumer services on a global scale. In a LinkedIn post celebrating his new role, Ross said “It is an honor to join this high-performance team that has such a meaningful impact for millions of people around the globe.”

Paul Gaffney – Chief Digital Officer at Omni Logistics

Omni Logistics, a technology-driven provider of global multimodal logistics solutions and specialized supply chain services, announced that Paul Gaffney would be serving as its first Chief Digital Officer. As CDO, Gaffney will “support the company in defining and executing its digital strategy, including digital transformation initiatives, seamless connection of operations systems, and optimization of digital customer platforms,” according to the company’s press release. “Omni Logistics had been on my radar for some time as the company and its leadership team presented a bold and unique vision that stood out in the logistics and transport sector. The opportunity to join the company and be part of the broader digital transformation to better serve our customers is very exciting,” said Paul Gaffney. He brings over 30 years of leadership experience, having worked with companies including Staples, Desktone, Inc., The Home Depot, DICK’S Sporting Goods, and most recently, Kohl’s as Chief Technology and Supply Chain Officer, to name a few.

Gary Flake – Chief Technology Officer at EMOTIV

EMOTIV, the bioinformatics pioneer advancing understanding of the human brain using electroencephalography, named Gary Flake as Chief Technology Officer. Flake, who will be coming out of retirement to join the company, will lead the effort to decode the world’s largest collection of brain data. Upon joining EMOTIV, Falke said, “I am not sure exactly where it will all go, but I believe our work will come to change the very essence of how humans and computers interact. This will be historic, and I’ve never been more honored and more humbled to be part of a team.” In Flake’s last formal role, which ended in 2016, he was the CTO of Search & Data Science at Salesforce.com, where he owned the company’s vision, strategy, and technology. Prior to that, he was the Founder and CEO of Clipboard Inc., which was acquired by Salesforce.com.

Mike Seavers – Chief Technology Officer at Yuga Labs

Yuga Labs, web3 leader and home of Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC), 10KTF, Otherside, CryptoPunks, and Meebits, announced that Mike Seavers will be joining the company as Chief Technology Officer, effective May 22nd. Seavers brings over 20 years of experience, previously serving as Executive Vice President of Development at Epic Games, where he led the development teams behind Unreal Engine, Fortnite, the Epic Games Store, and more. Before joining Epic Games in 2021, he was Chief Technology Officer of Riot Games, where he supported League of Legends, Valorant, and Legends of Runeterra. “There have been rare moments over my career where I felt like a new technology was creating a true paradigm shift for the world,” said Seavers. “I recognize that web3 is one of those moments, and I am absolutely thrilled to join Yuga Labs to help usher in a new era of the internet that impacts the world for the better.”

Alan Lee – Chief Technology Officer at Analog Devices

Alan Lee has been named Chief Technology Officer at Analog Devices, where he will identify and work to advance the next-generation technologies that will disrupt and shape the semiconductor industry and its markets. In the company’s announcement, Lee said “I am delighted to join ADI and continue its legacy of technology leadership at the boundary between the physical and digital domains. ADI has long been synonymous with innovation, and I am looking forward to working with the company’s incredible technology talent to further extend ADI’s leadership in the years and decades to come.” Formerly with AMD, Lee served as Head of Research and Advanced Development, in which his teams developed novel hardware, software, artificial intelligence, and high-performance computing technologies.

Fabien Radon – Chief Technology Officer and Executive Vice President of Product Development at Westport Fuel Systems Inc.

Westport Fuel Systems Inc., a global leader in low-emissions alternative fuel transportation technologies, appointed Fabien Redon as Chief Technology Officer and Executive Vice President of Product Development. In this role, Radon will own the development and delivery of clean alternative fuel systems products from concept to customers in the global transportation and off-road markets. “Fabien brings a wealth of technical leadership experience to Westport that is ideal for continued advancement of innovation and technology while driving efficiencies,” said David M. Johnson, Chief Executive Officer of Westport Fuel Systems. “Crucial to our strategic growth is the development and the delivery of the right solution at the right time to meet our customers needs around the world, we look forward to Fabien leading these efforts with the support of Westport’s global product development team.”

Jim Ducharme – Chief Technology Officer at ClearDATA

ClearDATA, the first comprehensive provider of healthcare-specific managed cloud, compliance, and defense services, announced Jim Ducharme as its new Chief Technology Officer. Cerence has named Iqbal Arshad as its new Chief Technology Officer. He also led the creation of foundational 4G technologies & chipsets, mobile software platforms, and industry-leading intellectual property. Darryl Koch – Senior Vice President, Chief Information Technology and Security Officer at CNB Bank

CNB Bank has promoted Darryl Koch to Senior Vice President, Chief Information Technology, and Security Officer. Koch most recently served as Vice President, Information Security Officer, and has been with CNB Bank since 2019. “Information technology is no longer a business support function. It is a critical element of the business itself,” President and Chief Executive Officer, Michael Peduzzi said. “Darryl’s extensive knowledge and years of experience in the IT and network security fields will be key to ensuring a highly secure environment for our customers and our employees. I look forward to working closely with Darryl and his team in ensuring we have the most relevant technologies and the strongest information security available.”

Sean Peoples – Chief Technology Officer at Carmigo

Carmigo, an online car marketplace connecting individual sellers with a network of buyers all over the country, has announced Sean Peoples as Chief Technology Officer. Peoples, one of the company’s co-founders, served as Carmigo’s head developer and head of product prior to this promotion. “Sean has been at the center of Carmigo since the day I first pitched him the idea,” said Carmigo Founder and CEO Andrew Warmath. “This new title is a reflection of his ongoing role as a leader in shaping our company’s technology offerings.” As CTO, Peoples will explore new ways to leverage the company’s technology to meet the needs of dealerships across the United States.

Shane Schilling – Chief Technology Officer at LiveOak Fiber

LiveOak Fiber, a regional service provider building and operating a world-class broadband network, has appointed Shane Schilling as Chief Technology Officer. As CTO, Schilling will be responsible for launching and strengthening operations for LiveOak Fiber, bringing its state-of-the-art competitive internet services to key markets throughout Florida and Georgia. Dan McQuade – Chief Technology Officer at Adlumin

Bustamente has been a key contributor within the company since its founding two years ago, with the promotion being a testament to his contributions and leadership. As CTO, he will continue to serve as the development and technical lead for Corscale, overseeing the advancement of their data center platform and ensuring that they remain at the forefront of innovation in the data center space. Past companies Bustamente has served with include Apple, Google, Microsoft, and Rackspace, among others.

Aaron Waltz – Chief Technology Officer at Ostara

Ostara, a leader in highly efficient phosphate fertilizers and nutrient management, named Aaron Waltz as Chief Technology Officer. Waltz brings over 20 years of experience in the agriculture industry as well as possesses deep agronomic expertise. His career has landed him in key roles at companies such as DuPont Pioneer, Exacto Inc., and most recently, Phospholutions, Inc., where he served as Chief Technology Officer. “Ostara has developed a unique foundation of innovative crop nutrition products and technologies that help growers optimize yield, embrace sustainability, and reduce application rates. Sathis Arasadi – Chief Information Officer at Bank of Marin

Sathis Arasadi was named Chief Information Officer at Bank of Marin, a leading business and community bank in the San Francisco Bay Area. “We are thrilled to welcome Sathis to the Bank of Marin team,” said Tim Myers, president and CEO. “His vast experience leading digital and technology transformations combined with his knowledge of software engineering will be an asset to our organization as we integrate technology enhancements into our operations and customer delivery channels.” Arasadi brings over 20 years of experience in financial services, specializing in engineering and financial technology. He’s held strategic roles with Visa, Bank of the West, and most recently, Freemont Bank, where he was the SVP of Technology and Process Improvements.

Richard Bonner – Chief Technology Officer at Accelsius

Accelsius, a company that is working to remove the thermal constraints in computing, appointed Richard Bonner as Chief Technology Officer. Bonner joins the company following his most recent role as Vice President of Research and Development (R&D) at Advanced Cooling Technologies, Inc. (ACT). He spent the last 18 years with the company in various R&D roles. While with ACT, Bonner provided value to customers by leveraging his diverse set of thermal management-related R&D, product development, and management experiences to best solve difficult thermal problems in all research and product development phases.

Matt Pistone – Chief Technology Officer at EncorEstate Plans

EncorEstate Plans, a fintech company that provides estate planning software designed exclusively for financial advisors, announced Matt Pistone as its first Chief Technology Officer. Pistone will focus on building out the company’s technology strategy to effectively serve its growing enterprise business as EncorEstate Plan’s CTO. Dinakar Hituvalli – Chief Technology Officer at Deltek

Mitch Schussler – Chief Technology Officer at LOKKER

LOKKER, a provider of online data privacy and compliance solutions for enterprises, appointed Mitch Schussler as Chief Technology Officer. As CTO, he will lead LOKKER’s software engineering and innovation with a focus on performance, big data, AI/ML, and operational efficiency, to further drive the company’s leadership in data privacy solutions for the enterprise. Craig Wigginton – Chief Information Officer at Gifted Healthcare

Gifted Healthcare, a leading healthcare staffing agency, announced that Craig Wigginton has been named Chief Information Officer. Andrew Campbell – Executive Vice President and Chief Information Officer at US LBM

US LBM, a leading distributor of specialty building materials in the United States, has appointed Andrew Campbell as Executive Vice President and Chief Information Officer. Campbell brings over 30 years of experience to the company and joins them from Terex Corporation where he served as SVP and CIO. Other notable companies that he has worked with include Ceridian, General Electric, and Xerox. In a LinkedIn post celebrating his new role at US LBM, Campbell said, “I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as Chief Information Officer at US LBM! I have met some amazing people and see an awesome future!”

Rick Guetschow – Chief Technology Officer at HiveWatch

Rick Guetschow has been named Chief Technology at HiveWatch where he will develop the long-term strategy for technological implementation across the organization, contribute to data security management for HiveWatch, and work alongside its engineering and product teams to deliver ongoing innovation for the HiveWatch Global Security Operations Center. “My mission is to foster a culture of information and data security so that HiveWatch can continue to innovate quickly and solve some of the biggest challenges that the physical security industry faces,” says Guetschow. “While the Internet of Things is more prevalent in physical security now than ever before, we’ve seen that there are significant gaps in the security of these devices that must be addressed. I look forward to adding to the foundation on which HiveWatch is built to minimize risk and be more proactive.” Guetschow brings over 20 years of industry experience to the role, having served with companies such as MySpace, Fandango, and Episource.

Moe Rahman – Chief Information Officer at Rider University

Rider University announced that Moe Rahman will be appointed as Chief Information Officer. Bill Sivrais – Chief Information Officer at the American Board of Medical Specialties

The American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS), the leading organization that oversees the standards for physician Board Certification in the United States, promoted Bill Sivrais to Chief Information Officer. As CIO, Sivrais will oversee the organization’s overall technology strategy, including its cyber security operations, data procurement, protection, and reporting, as well as supplying information technology (IT) and data support to the 24 Member Boards. Sivrais will also keep ABMS ahead of the curve in the latest technologies to ensure it is operating on the most innovative and secure platforms.
