Lewis Choi – Chief Information Officer at Neurocrine Biosciences

Neurocrine Biosciences has named Lewis Choi as Chief Information Officer. Choi brings his 25 years of experience in information technology and artificial intelligence to lead the strategic direction of the company’s technology initiatives. Elyse Gunn – Chief Information Security Officer at Nasuni

Nasuni has announced Elyse Gunn as Chief Information Security Officer to lead its global security and compliance function. Gunn brings deep expertise in security and compliance leadership for SaaS businesses, with a track record of building security-by-design cultures and implementing AI governance frameworks. She most recently served as Director of Security, Governance, Risk & Compliance at Pax8 and Quickbase, where she led product security initiatives and successfully drove multiple certifications. At Nasuni, she will oversee information security operations, product security, AI governance, and regulatory alignment.

Dalan Winbush – Chief Information Officer at Nasuni 

Nasuni has appointed Dalan Winbush as Chief Information Officer as part of its expanded executive leadership team. Winbush brings over 25 years of experience leading enterprise IT, cybersecurity, data, and AI initiatives. He most recently served as CIO at Quickbase, where he integrated AI and generative AI into operations and implemented a unified data strategy that improved customer acquisition and retention. Prior to that, he held divisional CIO responsibilities at Comcast. At Nasuni, Winbush will lead global IT operations, enterprise systems, data and analytics, AI strategy, and infrastructure.

Agam Upadhyay – Chief Digital and Information Officer at Vertex Pharmaceuticals

Vertex Pharmaceuticals has named Agam Upadhyay as Senior Vice President and Chief Digital and Information Officer. Upadhyay brings over 25 years of experience driving digital transformation and building global technology organizations across the life sciences industry. He most recently served as Chief Technology Officer at GSK, where he led enterprise-wide digital initiatives across the pharma, vaccine, and consumer healthcare businesses, overseeing infrastructure, cloud strategy, enterprise applications, and data platforms. Prior, Upadhyay held senior technology leadership roles at Eli Lilly and Johnson & Johnson, where he spearheaded IT infrastructure modernization, cloud computing initiatives, and large-scale enterprise systems integration. At Vertex, he will lead the company’s enterprise data and technology strategy.

Jim Scholefield – Chief Technology Officer at Legends

Legends has announced Jim Scholefield as Chief Technology Officer of the combined Legends and ASM Global business. Scholefield brings over 35 years of technology leadership experience, most recently serving as Global Chief Information & Digital Officer at Marriott International, where he led global technology modernization efforts. He has also held senior IT roles at Merck, Nike, and The Coca-Cola Company, focusing on digital transformation, infrastructure, and enterprise scalability. At Legends, Scholefield will oversee technology strategy, innovation, and execution across digital platforms and systems.

Kyle Webb – Chief Information Officer for Knox County, Ohio

Knox County, Ohio has promoted Kyle Webb to Chief Information Officer. Webb has led the county’s IT department since its formation in 2019, playing a key role in building secure and efficient technology infrastructure. His promotion reflects his leadership and the department’s growing role in county operations. As CIO, Webb will continue overseeing cybersecurity, systems administration, and network infrastructure across the county.

Ozzie Goldschmied – Chief Technology Officer at Udemy

Udemy has named Ozzie Goldschmied as Chief Technology Officer. He brings nearly 30 years of experience building and leading global technology organizations. He most recently served as founder and CEO of GoldenRock Inc., advising private equity and venture capital clients on product strategy and technical maturity. Previously, he was CTO at Ceridian and co-founded Dayforce, leading its engineering through acquisition. Goldschmied has also held leadership roles at Infor Global Solutions, Workbrain, and Sybase. Rinki Sethi – Chief Security Officer at Upwind

Upwind has appointed Rinki Sethi as Chief Security Officer to lead its global information security and technology functions. Sethi brings over 20 years of cybersecurity experience, with executive roles at companies including Twitter, Rubrik, Palo Alto Networks, and IBM. Dale Hoak – Chief Information Security Officer at RegScale

Dr. Aleksandra Faust – Chief Artificial Intelligence Officer at Genesis Therapeutics

Genesis Therapeutics has appointed Aleksandra Faust, Ph.D., as Chief Artificial Intelligence Officer to lead the advancement of its AI technologies for drug discovery. Faust brings over 20 years of experience in AI research and leadership, most recently serving as Director of Research at Google DeepMind, where she contributed to foundational model learning and projects like Gemini. Joe Miranda – Chief Technology and Data Officer at Gannett

Gannett has appointed Joe Miranda as its new Chief Technology and Data Officer, placing the seasoned digital executive at the forefront of the company’s enterprise-wide strategy. O’Connor brings over 35 years of IT experience, most recently serving as CIO and Associate Vice President for Technology at Massachusetts College of Art and Design, where he led digital transformation and infrastructure modernization efforts. His background includes roles at Columbia University’s School of the Arts and as a quality assurance engineer in Silicon Valley at Apple and Macromedia. Angel Miranda – Chief Information Officer at Westgate Resorts

Westgate Resorts has named Angel Miranda as Chief Information Officer, following his service as Interim CIO since earlier this year. Miranda brings over 25 years of technology leadership and has been with the company since 2013, rising from engineer to CIO. He currently leads a team of more than 120 and oversees enterprise IT strategy, operations, cybersecurity, infrastructure, and guest technology innovation. Notable achievements include integrating IT systems from Westgate’s acquisition of VI Resorts and launching AI-powered customer service tools. As CIO, Miranda will focus on digital modernization, guest personalization, and operational efficiency.

Chris Akeroyd – Chief Information Officer for Lee Health

Lee Health has appointed Chris Akeroyd as Chief Information Officer, bringing over 28 years of experience in IT, digital transformation, and healthcare operations. Akeroyd most recently served as Executive Vice President and Chief Information Officer at Children’s Health in Dallas, where he led technology strategy for a $5 billion flagship campus and oversaw digital health, cybersecurity, analytics, and telehealth initiatives. He previously served as Chief Digital and Technology Officer at the same organization, achieving significant cost savings through IT modernization. At Lee Health, Akeroyd will lead strategic planning and management of information systems to support the organization’s digital advancement and patient care goals.

Valli Nachiappan – Chief Technology Officer at Orion

Orion has appointed Valli Nachiappan as Chief Technology Officer to lead its technology strategy and drive innovation across its wealthtech platform. Nachiappan brings over 20 years of experience in technology leadership, most recently serving as Vice President of Engineering at Zendesk, where she led global teams and advanced AI-driven client engagement. Dr. Craig Martell – Vice President and Chief Technology Officer at Lockheed Martin

Lockheed Martin has appointed Dr. Craig Martell as Vice President and Chief Technology Officer. With over 23 years of experience across defense, government, academia, and the tech industry, Dr. Martell brings deep expertise in AI, machine learning, and digital transformation. He previously served as Chief AI Officer at Cohesity and was the first Chief Digital and AI Officer for the U.S. Department of Defense. His background also includes leadership roles at LinkedIn, Dropbox, and Lyft.

Chris Huff – Chief Information Officer at National Air Cargo

National Air Cargo has appointed Chris Huff as Chief Information Officer, where he will lead global IT strategy, cybersecurity, engineering, and digital innovation for both National Air Cargo and National Airlines. Huff brings over two decades of technology leadership across enterprise IT, cloud transformation, and AI. Valerie Ashbaugh – Chief Information Officer and Senior Vice President for McDonald’s USA 

McDonald’s has appointed Valerie Ashbaugh as Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer for McDonald’s USA, where she will lead technology strategy and execution across nearly 14,000 restaurants nationwide. Ashbaugh brings extensive global experience in enterprise technology leadership. Most recently, she served in McDonald’s Global Technology organization, where she led large-scale transformation efforts, expanding engineering capabilities in international markets. In her new role, she will oversee U.S. technology infrastructure, with a focus on strengthening the company’s strategy and execution.

Rick Howard – Chief Technology Officer for Knowtion Health

Knowtion Health has appointed Rick Howard as Chief Technology Officer to lead its technology vision and strategy. Howard brings over 20 years of executive experience in healthcare IT, data management, generative AI, and operations, with prior leadership roles at BENinc.ai, AXL Health, Apervita, and Ascension Technologies. At Knowtion Health, he will oversee IT infrastructure, data systems, information security, and more.

Gaspare LoDuca – Vice President and Chief Information Officer for the Massachusetts Institute of Technology

MIT has appointed Gaspare LoDuca as Vice President for Information Systems and Technology and Chief Information Officer, effective August 18. LoDuca currently serves as Vice President for Information Technology and CIO at Columbia University, where he has led enterprise IT operations since 2015. His accomplishments include modernizing infrastructure, launching new student systems, and implementing research data platforms. Prior to Columbia, he was Managing Director for the education practice at Accenture, leading major technology implementations for institutions such as Yale and Carnegie Mellon. At MIT, LoDuca will oversee IT strategy, infrastructure, and digital transformation across the Institute.

Mike Giresi – Global Chief Information Officer at Vertiv

Vertiv has appointed Mike Giresi as Global Chief Information Officer, effective June 30, 2025. Giresi brings over 30 years of IT experience, including more than two decades in executive leadership roles. He most recently served as Chief Digital Officer at Molex and has previously held CIO positions at Aramark, Royal Caribbean Cruises, Tory Burch, Direct Brands, and Godiva Chocolatier. At Vertiv, Giresi will lead initiatives in AI adoption, cybersecurity, digital productivity, and customer experience, supporting the company’s broader strategy to enhance operational performance and deliver greater value to hyperscale, enterprise, and edge customers.

Mark Field – Chief Information Officer at Illumina

Illumina has appointed Mark Field as Chief Information Officer, bringing over 30 years of experience in enterprise IT and life sciences to the role. Field began his career at Oracle before holding senior technology leadership positions at Life Technologies, Thermo Fisher Scientific, where he served as CTO, and Insulet Corporation. His background blends corporate IT with scientific R&D, positioning him to support Illumina’s innovation in genomics as AI reshapes the industry. Based in San Diego, Field now leads Illumina’s technology strategy as the company focuses on advancing personalized medicine and scientific discovery.

Bill Poirier – Chief Information Officer at UCF

The University of Central Florida has named Bill Poirier as Chief Information Officer, effective July 28, 2025. Poirier brings over 30 years of experience across education, government, the military, and the private sector. He most recently served as Vice Chancellor for Technology and CIO at the University System of New Hampshire. A retired U.S. Air Force Colonel, Poirier has held multiple senior leadership roles, including CIO and CTO. He is known for driving large-scale technology transformations. At UCF, he will lead efforts to modernize academic, research, and administrative systems.

Eric Nelson – Chief Information Officer at QXO

QXO has appointed Eric Nelson as Chief Information Officer, effective July 14, 2025. Nelson brings over a decade of senior technology leadership from The Kraft Heinz Company, where he led IT strategy for global corporate functions and played a key role in technology transformations related to multiple acquisitions and spin-offs. He previously served as CIO of Kraft Heinz North America and global head of analytics, overseeing cloud migrations, and machine learning operations. At QXO, Nelson will drive the company’s IT roadmap.

Daniel Brusilovsky – Chief Technology Officer for the Denver Broncos

The Denver Broncos have named Daniel Brusilovsky as Chief Technology Officer where he will oversee all technology services, systems, and innovation across Broncos Park Powered by CommonSpirit and Empower Field at Mile High. Brusilovsky joins from the Golden State Warriors, where he spent 11 years as Vice President of Technology, leading digital strategy and infrastructure across multiple teams and venues, including the development of the Chase Center and Thrive City. He brings extensive experience in fan engagement, event technology, and digital product development, and will serve on the Broncos’ senior leadership team.

Tim Langley-Hawthorne – Chief Technology Officer at Love’s

Love’s Travel Stops has appointed Tim Langley-Hawthorne as Chief Technology Officer, effective immediately. Langley-Hawthorne brings over 30 years of global technology experience across multiple industries, most recently serving as Executive Vice President and CIO at Hertz, where he led large-scale technology deployments across a global vehicle fleet. He previously held leadership roles at Hitachi Vantara, Western Union, and Information Services Group. At Love’s, he will oversee technology strategy, development, and the responsible use of AI, with a focus on aligning innovation with business growth and enhancing customer experiences.

Erfan Mojaddam – Chief Information Officer at Des Moines University

Des Moines University has appointed Erfan Mojaddam as Chief Information Officer, effective September 15, 2025. Mojaddam brings nearly 20 years of experience in educational technology and digital transformation, with prior leadership roles at Stanford University and UC Berkeley. At Berkeley, he led initiatives to improve student success through data-driven tools and digital engagement, while at Stanford he helped launch a global health education program. In his new role at DMU, Mojaddam will oversee IT strategy and innovation, focusing on enhancing academic and administrative systems to support student outcomes and institutional growth.

Harper Johnson – Chief Information Officer at Denver University

The University of Denver has selected Harper P. Johnson as Chief Information Officer, effective July 1, 2025. Johnson brings over 25 years of higher education technology leadership, most recently serving as Associate Vice Chancellor of IT and CIO at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs. During his tenure, he led initiatives to enhance IT services, online education, human resources, and campus-wide digital strategy. He previously held IT leadership roles at Northern Arizona University and has experience in the education software industry, business operations, and the U.S. Air Force. At DU, Johnson will oversee IT strategy and operations, reporting to the Senior Vice Chancellor for Business and Financial Affairs.

Irene Oh – Chief Information Officer at Network Distribution

Network Distribution has appointed Irene Oh as Chief Information Officer to lead the development of enterprise IT systems and support the organization’s digital growth strategy. Oh brings over 25 years of IT leadership experience, most recently serving as Vice President of IT Global Enterprise Digital Services at Reyes Holdings, where she led digital transformation efforts and modernized IT operations across business functions. At Network, she will focus on building high-performing IT teams and enhancing technology capabilities to drive operational efficiency and deliver value across the company’s distribution ecosystem.

Heather Wilberger – Vice President and Chief Information and Digital Officer at NSF

NSF has appointed Heather Wilberger as Vice President and Chief Information and Digital Officer to lead its global technology and digital transformation strategy. Wilberger brings over 20 years of executive experience in IT and business innovation, most recently serving as Chief Transformation and Information Officer at Vince. She previously held technology leadership roles at Bedrock and Rocket Mortgage. At NSF, Wilberger will focus on digitizing core processes, optimizing IT infrastructure, and leveraging AI and data analytics to enhance services and operational efficiency across the organization.

Shahan Parshad – Chief Information Officer at Avalara

Avalara has appointed Shahan Parshad as Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer to lead the company’s global IT, business systems, and data infrastructure. Deborah Heart and Lung Center has appointed Ralph Porpora as Vice President of Information Services and Chief Information Officer. Porpora brings over 25 years of healthcare technology leadership, with experience in digital transformation, EHR systems, and IT strategy. Carin Quiroga – Deputy Chief Information Officer at ICE

Carin Quiroga has been appointed Acting Deputy Chief Information Officer at U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), bringing nearly 30 years of federal IT and leadership experience to the role. Since 2021, she has served as ICE’s Chief Data Officer, where she led enterprise data modernization, governance, and cross-agency information-sharing initiatives. Prior to ICE, Quiroga spent over a decade at U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) in senior IT roles and held positions in the private sector supporting large-scale federal technology programs. She will help ICE continue to strengthening mission-critical technology infrastructure.

Arvind Krishnan – Chief Technology Officer at Alteryx

Alteryx has appointed Arvind Krishnan as Chief Technology Officer to lead the company’s technical vision and execution across its AI, cloud, and analytics initiatives. Krishnan brings over 25 years of experience in engineering leadership, most recently serving as CTO at Bluecore, where he led distributed engineering teams and cloud-native development. He also spent more than a decade at Salesforce, scaling development across multiple cloud platforms. Jeff Burke – Chief Digital and Information Officer at Unilever for Foods North America

Amy Yeh – Chief Technology Officer at MediaAlpha

MediaAlpha has appointed Amy Yeh as Chief Technology Officer, following nearly a decade of leadership within the company’s engineering organization. Yeh, who most recently served as SVP of Technology, has been instrumental in scaling MediaAlpha’s infrastructure, enhancing platform reliability, and driving innovation across its insurance marketplace. As CTO, she will lead the company’s technology strategy and execution, with a focus on evolving the platform and strengthening engineering practices.

Michelle Sarkissian – Chief Information Officer for City of Menifee, CA

The City of Menifee, CA has promoted Michelle Sarkissian to Chief Information Officer, effective June 30. Sarkissian brings over 11 years of IT leadership experience, including her most recent role as the city’s Information Technology Manager. In her new position, she will lead initiatives focused on technology preparedness, geographic information systems (GIS), and cybersecurity, supporting the city’s efforts to enhance infrastructure and service delivery through innovation.

Matthew Deres – Chief Information Officer at TPx

TPx has named Matthew Deres as Chief Information Officer to lead internal technology transformation and support the company’s growth as a nationwide managed services provider. Deres brings over 25 years of experience in enterprise IT, cybersecurity, and operational leadership, with a track record of driving efficiency and modernization. He joins TPx from Quest Software, where he led global IT efforts that significantly improved security and partner system performance. At TPx, he will focus on strengthening the company’s infrastructure to improve service delivery and support long-term innovation.

Dustin Allen – Chief Technology Officer at GeorgeJon

GeorgeJon has announced the Dustin Allen’s return as acting Chief Technology Officer. A founding architect of GeorgeJon’s delivery model, Allen brings over 20 years of experience in enterprise infrastructure, cybersecurity, and managed services. As CTO, Allen will lead the company’s technology strategy across platform architecture, security, automation, and customer operations. He rejoins GeorgeJon to strengthen innovation, scalability, and performance in the face of evolving eDiscovery demands, including hybrid cloud adoption and AI integration.

Michael Rogers – Chief Technology Officer at FedEx Freight

FedEx has named Michael Rogers as Chief Technology Officer of FedEx Freight, ahead of the division’s planned spin-off as an independent public company next spring. Rogers brings more than three decades of experience in enterprise technology and digital transformation, most recently serving as EVP and CTO/CIO at Pilot Flying J, where he led enterprise technology, digital systems, and marketing initiatives. He previously held executive technology leadership roles at JCPenney and Saks Fifth Avenue, including EVP of Omnichannel and EVP/CIO. At FedEx Freight, Rogers will be responsible for driving technology strategy and modernization across the less-than-truckload carrier’s operations.

Neal Sample – Chief Data and Technology Officer at Best Buy

Best Buy has appointed Neal Sample as Chief Digital and Technology Officer, bringing extensive experience across both traditional enterprises and technology-driven organizations. Sample most recently served as Executive Vice President and CIO at Walgreens Boots Alliance. His previous leadership roles include CIO of Northwestern Mutual, COO and CIO of Express Scripts, and Group President of Enterprise Growth at American Express. He also held senior technology positions at Yahoo! and eBay. At Best Buy, Sample will lead digital and technology initiatives to drive innovation and operational agility across the business.

Jeff Conklin – Chief Security Officer at CISA

The Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) has appointed Jeff Conklin as Chief Security Officer, bringing extensive federal IT and cybersecurity leadership experience to the role. Conklin previously served as CSO and CIO at U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, overseeing agency-wide IT and cybersecurity operations. His career includes senior positions at the U.S. Coast Guard, Department of Education, and Defense Information Systems Agency, where he led enterprise IT initiatives supporting national security and defense networks. At CISA, Conklin will lead security strategy and operations.

Scott Brown – Chief Information Officer at eProductivity Software

eProductivity Software has appointed Scott Brown as Chief Information Officer to lead its cloud-first strategy for packaging software solutions. Brown brings over 35 years of SaaS and enterprise IT leadership experience, most recently serving as CIO at Sciforma. He has also held senior roles at BluJay Solutions, IBS AB, and RedPrairie. At ePS, Brown will oversee Corporate IT, Cloud Services, and Security, driving compliance initiatives and advancing the company’s cloud roadmap.

Jason Ickert – Chief Information Officer at Medical City Healthcare

Medical City Healthcare has named Jason Ickert as Chief Information Officer, bringing over 25 years of experience within the organization. Ickert most recently served as Division Director of Operations, overseeing IT strategy and operations across 22 facilities in North Texas and Central Louisiana. He played a key role in the integration of multiple facilities into the system and led initiatives that improved IT performance and service reliability. Prior to that, he was Director of Application Services, managing the enterprise application portfolio, including EHR and imaging systems. As CIO, Ickert will focus on delivering technology solutions that support patient-centered care.

Chris Gergen – Chief Information Security Officer at North Dakota Information Technology

North Dakota Information Technology has appointed Chris Gergen as Chief Information Security Officer, following his tenure as Interim CISO. Gergen brings nearly 20 years of experience in cybersecurity, risk management, and IT, and has held key leadership roles within NDIT since joining in 2019. He previously served as Director of Cyber Operations and played a central role in establishing the state’s Cyber Operations Center. As CISO, Gergen will lead North Dakota’s cybersecurity strategy with a focus on resilience, collaboration, and safeguarding digital services for citizens and government partners.

Patrick Brown – Chief Medical Information Officer at BayCare Health System

BayCare Health System has named Dr. Patrick Brown as Vice President and Chief Medical Information Officer, effective June 30, 2025. Dr. Brown brings expertise in clinical informatics, most recently serving as CMIO at Centra Health, where he led EHR optimization and digital innovation across hospitals and ambulatory practices. He previously held informatics leadership roles at Mission Health, Tufts University School of Medicine, and the University of Virginia. In this role, Dr. Brown will oversee the alignment of clinical and technology initiatives, guide IT strategic planning, and lead efforts to optimize electronic health records and telemedicine across the health system.

Suresh Krishnan – Chief Information Officer at Memorial Health

Memorial Health has named Suresh Krishnan as Chief Information Officer, effective July 28, 2025. Krishnan brings more than 30 years of healthcare technology leadership, with experience across integrated health systems, academic medical centers, and community hospitals. Most recently, he served as Chief Technology Officer at Cone Health in North Carolina, where he led a successful deployment for 16,000 users. He has also worked extensively with AI to enhance clinical operations, data analytics, and patient care, and brings significant expertise in cybersecurity.

JP Saini – Chief Digital and Information Officer at BrandSafway

BrandSafway has named JP Saini as Senior Vice President and Chief Digital & Information Officer. Saini brings more than 25 years of experience in digital transformation, technology strategy, and cybersecurity. He most recently served as EVP and Chief Digital & Technology Officer at Sunbelt Rentals, where he led a large-scale modernization effort across systems, data, and supply chain operations. In his role, Saini will oversee global digital and IT strategy, reporting to President and CEO Gabriel McCabe.
