Chewy has appointed former Amazon executive Yunyan Wang as Chief Technology Officer, adding an experienced technology and supply chain leader to the company.
Wang spent nearly 13 years at Amazon, most recently serving as Vice President of Commerce & Supply Chain Services, where she worked on fulfillment and logistics products for third-party merchants, including Prime Fulfillment and Multi-Channel Fulfillment. She also served as Technical Advisor to former Worldwide Consumer CEO Jeff Wilke and previously led Amazon Marketplace seller growth in North America.
Chewy CEO Sumit Singh announced the hire on LinkedIn, describing Wang as “a proven technology leader and builder of large-scale global platforms, with deep expertise across e-commerce, fulfillment, supply chain, data, and AI.”
As Chief Technology Officer, Wang will oversee Chewy’s technology organization along with product and infrastructure initiatives.
