Brown & Brown, Inc. has appointed Dorothea (“Dori”) Henderson as Chief Information Technology Officer. She will be based in Daytona Beach, Florida.
In the role, Henderson will lead the company’s enterprise technology strategy, overseeing initiatives to enhance digital capabilities and improve the technology experience for teammates and customers.
She will work closely with segment and functional leaders to modernize the company’s technology environment, strengthen reliability and security, and advance a unified data and AI strategy that supports growth, integration, and long-term scalability.
President and CEO Powell Brown said Henderson’s appointment comes at a pivotal time for the company.
“Dori brings a strong strategic perspective and operational discipline at a time when both matter,” Brown said. “Her leadership will help ensure we continue delivering modern, dependable solutions that empower our teammates and elevate the customer experience.”
Henderson joins from CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield, where as senior vice president and chief digital information officer she led enterprise IT and guided the company’s digital evolution, connecting technology modernization with stronger operational performance and business value.
