Love’s Travel Stops has appointed Tim Langley-Hawthorne as its new Chief Technology Officer, effective immediately. Reporting to President Shane Wharton, Langley-Hawthorne will lead technology strategy, development, and innovation efforts, including the responsible use of artificial intelligence.

Langley-Hawthorne brings over 30 years of global technology leadership. He most recently served as EVP and CIO at Hertz, where he oversaw large-scale technology operations across thousands of global locations. He also held senior roles at Hitachi Vantara, Western Union, and Information Services Group, contributing to major initiatives such as M&A integration and enterprise transformation.
Recognized for his collaborative and hands-on leadership style, Langley-Hawthorne is expected to play a key role in advancing Love’s strategic goals through technology innovation and alignment.
