Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE), the global edge-to-cloud company that helps organizations accelerate outcomes by unlocking value from all of their data, has appointed Rom Kosla as Chief Information Officer (CIO), effective July 2023. As CIO, Kosla will use his extensive experience in the digital front-end and complex distribution and supply chain spaces to build upon the company’s work around the transformation of its internal systems to continue positioning them for success, among other responsibilities.

Kosla brings nearly 30 years of industry experience to the role and will join Hewlett Packard Enterprises from grocery retailer Ahold Delhaize USA, where he serves as Executive Vice President, IT, and CIO. In this capacity, he led the IT transformation across the organization’s companies, upgrading their technical and engineering capabilities. Prior to joining Ahold Delhaize USA, Kosla served in key leadership positions with PepsiCo, Deloitte, and Nestlé. Kosla specializes in e-commerce, digital strategy, app development, enterprise resource planning, and DevSecOps.
“I’m excited to join HPE at this pivotal moment for its business,” said Kosla in a press release. “Continuous innovation in the IT estate is critical to the engagement of an organization’s stakeholders. HPE is committed to elevating the experience customers, partners, and team members have working and doing business with the company, and I’m looking forward to working with a superb team of professionals to do just that.”
